How to Use It

Spicy Ground Peppers can be used as a seasoning for basically everything. Many of our early tasters have been over-the-top excited about the flavor and heat of Cayenne and Jalapeno powders.

As the summer seasons produce different varieties of hot and sweet peppers from the fields each batch of our spicy ground peppers will be slightly different. Some batches will be a little hotter and some a little sweeter, but generally the range is from 8,000 to 30,000 SHU due to a mix of the peppers.

A few obvious options for spicy ground peppers are:

  • sandwiches and salads
  • soups and stews
  • sauces, dressings, and salsas
  • pizza and flat breads
  • dips and cheese spreads
  • roasted vegetables
  • grill and barbecue rubs
  • rice and pasta dishes

Not-so-obvious applications of spicy ground peppers are:

  • homemade popcorn
  • cocktail salt rims
  • morning toast and bagels
  • coffee and espresso topping
  • charcuterie boards
  • sausage seasoning

Why It’s Better

Our spicy ground peppers is made from the finest whole hot peppers sourced from the farms we partner with. They are ground to a fine powder to ensure a smooth and consistent texture. If you want to control the fineness of granularity, we suggest trying our whole hot peppers as well.
